One sweltering summer day, a huge dragonfly visited us in the garden. It was circling over the small garden pond, and then suddenly, it fell into the water. I grabbed a bottle and balancing on the edge of the pond I finally managed to fish out the little troublemaker. As I was holding the bottle in my hand, I was admired by this creature. What beautiful colors! What a fascinating structure. As I examined it, I remembered that I had never seen the abdomen of a dragonfly before. So I looked at it. How interesting! It was breathing.
