There is supposedly a fungus called the ’tarantula fungus’ or ’zombie fungus’ that somehow invades the animal’s body and takes control of it. As a result of the process, the fungus grows out of the tarantula and leads the creature to a location that is favorable for the fungus. Although it is one of the most gruesome types of death, it is somehow visually beautiful, isn’t it?... or at least fascinating...
