The painting ’Fracture’ is a piece that was truly inspired by nature since I found a pair of broken butterfy wings in the forest. It made me think about the fragility of the human soul. We are born with the feeling that we are capable of everything we imagine, but as soon as we step foot in different institutions those dreams are being ridiculed or obscured by others and it feels like loosing the ability to fly. This piece serves as a reminder to never let go of our wings.
